Spring has sprung

The sun has been shining and the snow drops are nodding their little heads merrily in the breeze. It did actually get to the point of ‘too warm’, but Mother Nature did her best for us skiers and turned down the heat and brought on the snow…………THANK YOU!
So we had snow but then the sun has returned along with many smiles and happy people. To make things even better the slopes are empty so lots of big sweeping GS turns are being made, which is much more fun than doing slalom around moving targets!
The Mountain Lodge is busy, busy, busy and the ‘kids’ are really enjoying their last couple of months, finding all the sunny terraces and bring their buoyant, tanned and happy selves back to work after enjoying the mountain air. Amazing how the sun can refresh and boost tired bodies, but I’m thankful it can and does!!!
