Spend your days hiking scenic trails, visiting traditional buvettes where local cheese is still made by hand, or raise your pulse with mountain biking and rock climbing. Whether you’re seeking tranquility or adventure, this mountain haven offers something for everyone.

Hiking and climbing
Breathtaking vistas, alpine lakes, waterfalls, mountain peaks, an abundance of flora and fauna – all on your doorstep and waiting for you to explore. Either step out from the front door and see where your feet take you, or use the free Multipass to access the ski lifts which take you to 800 km of marked trails with something for everyone, from the relaxed to the challenging.
Les Crosets bowl offers a wealth of climbing routes and crags and is a short distance from our location. We are also located close to many other trails and climbing walls, such as the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches trails, the exhilarating Via Ferrata de Tière and the alpine valley of Barme.
There is even an option for unexpected weather, with a state-of-the-art indoor climbing wall at the Palladium in nearby Champery.
FOR THRILL–SEEKERS
Mountain biking
Summer transforms the Portes du Soleil into a mountain biker’s utopia with 600km of marked trails and 19 lifts, downhill trails 5 bike parks and cross circuits. Please note that the Multipass does not cover lift entry with a mountain bike – if you are interested in using the lifts for Mountain Biking you will need to purchase an MTB pass from the Portes du Soleil website here or in person at the lift office.
Guests can conveniently store their bicycles and equipment in our secure boot room, which is also equipped with E bike chargers.

Other activities & adventures
Cool off with a summer swim in one of the nearby alpine lakes, or perhaps take a dip at the Palladium in Champery in the indoor or outdoor pools, free entry for which is included with the Multipass. The beaches and Aquaparc of Lake Geneva are also located about an hour’s drive away.
There are options for all adventure lovers with fishing, horse riding, canyoning, parapente, skydiving, zipline, and bungee jumping all within easy access during your stay. Speak to our team to find out more information.
